Business Leader's Network Groups Kickoff

Johnnys_final With studies showing $7.90 returned for every $1 spent, CEO's and business leaders are using coaching to improve their bottom line. Consider a recent article written by the Dallas Morning News. They stated:

Executive coaching or one-on-one business mentoring is no longer reserved for a company's top officers. Companies are hiring executive coaches – who tend to focus on improving communication and time management skills – to groom their high-potential employees, changing the way firms train executives-to-be. Coaching, in personal and business capacities, has become a $1 billion a year industry in the US. Some surveys indicate that half of all businesses now employ coaches. "It has really blossomed," said Gail Aldrich, senior vice president for member services for the Society for Human Resource Management. "Companies are recognizing that investing in people makes a big difference to the bottom line."

Business Leaders’ Network Groups are now being formed by Courageous Growth Coaching. CGC will combine the proven effectiveness of coaching with assessments, leadership training, timeless biblical principals and a connected community of successful growth oriented business leaders. In these groups, individuals will establish personal goals, strategies, and action steps. Reflection will be upon the results of progress achieved toward goals, and will be filtered through objective, truthful feedback. This feedback is the fertilizer for growth! CGC coaching has combined all of these elements which serve as a green house environment, giving leaders the best possible opportunity to maximize personal growth in the shortest amount of time.

As an owner of several businesses, I have had to overcome the cost of many lessons learned in the "school of hard knocks.” As a result, I can now appreciate the value of connecting with a group of like-minded, high-achieving individuals who truly want to be all they can be. As a coach, I have personally witnessed the difference coaching has made in my clients’ lives.

I am confident the Business Leaders’ Network Groups will increase the impressive results that I and my clients have experienced through leadership coaching. I believe the green house affect created by CG business groups will be incredibly successful in facilitating leaders who desire to experience the balanced, fruitful lives Christ desires for us all.

I ask that you prayerfully consider this opportunity to connect to other individuals like yourself and begin the journey of personal growth today. For more information, contact me directly at johnny@courageousgrowth.com or call me at 1-877-CGUGROW.

Courageous Growth

Russs_picture  Courageous Growth Coaching has been a long time coming.  Years ago, when I sat in my first coaching class, I had a spiritual experience as it dawned on me that the missing piece in the journey toward meaningful growth and change is not more knowledge but an accountable, encouraging relationship with a change expert who is dedicated to my success.  The transformation in lives which I have seen since that first class has simply amazed me, and it has caused me to commit the rest of my career to the pursuit of the positive psychology that is known as “coaching”.

Courageous Growth Coaching is now a reality.  Thanks to the dreams and the hard work of this team, we can now offer life-changing opportunities to those who have a desire to be more and do more.  We have the heart and the tools to make a difference in the quality of life for many individuals.  We have the knowledge and the systems to help businesses and business leaders better accomplish their bottom lines.  And, we have the calling of Christ to do all this for His glory and His honor.

Courageous Growth Coaching is changing my life.  Some people think I should have my head examined for leaving the security of a long-time ministry job in a mega-church to start a coaching business.  Having my head examined is not a bad idea, but I am not questioning what God is doing in my life through this faith adventure.  He has already shown Janet and me that we can’t have a testimony without a test.  And we want to run the race “so as to win” just as the Apostle Paul suggested.  So, we greatly appreciate your prayers and showing up as advocates for this ministry / business.

Courageous Growth Coaching can change your life.  It’s rare when you find a true “one size fits all” in this world, but I’m totally convinced that coaching is for everyone.  At least it’s for everyone who is ready to move forward instead of looking backward at the places that trip us up.  God created us with unimaginable potential and most of us haven’t tapped an ounce of it.  You were meant to find your “sweet spot” in life – that place that represents the intersection of God’s purpose for you and your passion in life.  We were meant to help you find that spot and live in it.  It’s called “the abundant life”.

Courageous Growth Coaching is a place you can feel good about referring your friends.  This is not about us – it’s about you and your friends and your family – and it’s about what God wants to accomplish through all of you.  If you know Johnny Crenshaw or Brandy Prince or Russ Rainey, you know that we are not complicated people who are interested in complicating your life.  We are about simple, God-inspired solutions to life.  And we are about partnering with you and your Creator to accomplish something that honors Him.  We consider it a privilege to come alongside of you.  Give us a call.

Personal Transformation

New_image People are constantly fascinated when they find out I'm a life coach.  Much has been said about coaching in various venues, but to most people what coaching actually is and what a coach does is still a mystery.  Sometimes, it's a mystery even to me.

My first experience with coaching was hiring one myself.  I had been encouraged to look into coaching as a career, but my life was so full (too full) that even the thought of taking on one more thing overwhelmed me.  I had overcome many things in my life - dysfunctional childhood, abuse, abandonment, personal choices that haunted me - but I had not managed to overcome my tendency to say yes to too many things.  So, with some encouragement, I hired a coach to help me get control, once and for all, of my crazy schedule!  Those 9 months changed the course of the rest of my life!

Not only did I find that having a coach revved up my growth considerably in that area, but I realized that coaching was an extension of what I already did on a regular basis - partnering with people to move forward in some area of their life that was holding them back.  I did this by leading support groups, sponsoring and mentoring other ladies and speaking and training other leaders to do the same.  So after experiencing the transformation myself, I decided to take the plunge!

Several years and training certifications later, coaching is still transforming my life.  Not only do I continue to have a coach, but coaching others challenges me and changes me in ways I never expected.

  • As you ask people personal, insightful questions, it's difficult not to wonder how you would answer yourself.
  • As you encourage others to find support and accountability for the changes they are making in their lives, you too are reminded that support, encouragement and accountability are necessary components in your own life.
  • As you challenge people's thinking, core beliefs & self-concept you too are challenged to think and believe in a way that moves you forward.

Looking forward in our new business endeavor, I am deeply grateful for the people in my life who have helped me engage God, change my own faulting thinking and beliefs & provided the support and encouragement for me to move forward.  I can't now imagine the depth and bredth of the impact that we will have in our community and for the kingdom as we seek to use the God-given gifts, strengths and experiences that make up who we are.
